The Junior Surf Group Leader Course is an entry level development opportunity for SLSNZ members interested in taking on more responsibility in supporting delivery or leading Junior Surf sessions.

Topics Covered:
- Junior Surf Guiding Principles
- The role of a Group Leader
- Practical application of risk management
- Teaching 101
- Junior Surf Program, delivery, and resources
- Practical activities

Pre-requisites:
16 years of age
Current member of a SLS club
Be Safer Module (online)
Recommended: Safeguarding Children Module (online) & Surf Lifeguard Award
