Lindy Hoppers’ Shim Sham Class Series with Optional Halloween Parade Performance

Tank is back at the New Paltz Community Center for another super fun dance series! This time Tank will be teaching the “Shim Sham,” a solo dance performed in clubs, in 1930’s Harlem, as the finale number with all the performers joining together on stage. Today it’s still danced by Lindy Hoppers worldwide. Learn it for the first time or learn variations to showcase your personal style. Perform at the New Paltz Halloween Parade – optional but fun! $60 for the six class series. Thursdays at 6pm, starting September 18th, at the New Paltz Community Center.
