Alexis Rolle, who’s also known as Rollelex, was born in Florida and moved to New Orleans around the age of 7. She grew up having a passion for dance and immersed herself in the culture of New Orleans’ dance style. She had no clue that she would later become a professional dancer and have the chance to tour with one of New Orleans’ biggest artists, Big Freedia!
Throughout her life she has trained in contemporary, ballet, and hip hop at Lusher Charter School’s dance company, Landry Walker’s dance company, and under Big Freedia’s, choreographer, Tamika Jett at her school, Passion Dance.
Rollelex has also danced for Pj Morton, Master P, French Montana, and many other artists. She has a passion for dancing and is forming a passion for teaching.
