O What a Night! Gala

Ogden Museum of Southern Art, dedicated to broadening the knowledge, understanding, interpretation and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South, will hold its annual O What a Night! Gala on October 18, 2025, with a Patron Party and auction preview at the home of Kaye Courington on October 16, 2025.

This year’s gala will honor internationally acclaimed New Orleans-based multimedia artist Dawn DeDeaux and Louisiana arts advocate and philanthropist Randy K. Haynie with the prestigious Opus Award.

With our recent acquisitions of the historic Patrick F. Taylor Library and Stephen Goldring Hall, which house the Museum’s permanent collection, rotating exhibitions and educational programs, this year will truly be a memorable celebration.
