Like a giant awaking from its long slumber, or perhaps a beautiful butterfly finally emerging from its cocoon, Jungle Punch returns from our 2 month vacation! And we are stoked to be bringing Chicago heavyweights, @stunnachi and @renansense! 🤜🌴
This pair of DJs/producers/promoters has been deep in the Drum+Bass/Jungle game for more than a quarter century. With a long history of vinyl and digital releases, Stunna recently teamed up with Renan for their inaugural release as a duo. Entitled ‘The It EP,’ this diverse 3 track offering for Calculon’s @shootrecordings label has been making waves worldwide by some of the scene’s top selectors and tastemakers.
Back on their home turf, Stunna and Renan join forces as residents of the @dnbid_chicago promotion crew: a collective striving to provide unique and memorable experiences for connoisseurs and enthusiasts of electronic dance music with events such as ‘Golden Hour’ and ‘Jungle Got Soul.’
Also be sure to catch Stunna via his longtime running weekly Wednesday show ‘The Greenroom’ streamed on @bassdriveradio. Fresh from an invigorating trip to Japan, complete with a memorable gig in Okinawa, the pair are back in the studio working on a brand new batch of tunes.
