This crew of New Orleans veterans is built around 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘴 (drums), 𝘑𝘢𝘺 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴 (reeds), 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘴𝘰𝘯 (bass), and 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘥 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘸 (keys) — a locked-in, loose-limbed quartet that pulls from jazz, funk, Afrobeat, second line, and whatever else they feel like bending into the mix that night.
You’re not going to get a setlist in advance. You’re going to get a conversation between four players who know each other well enough to take risks — and smart enough to land them. Think textures, tension, groove, and grit. Think music that builds without blowing out.
