Catholic Art Lecture (Fall 2025)

All are invited to join us for our Fall 2025 Catholic Art Lecture, co-hosted by the St. Louis IX Art Society and Notre Dame Seminary, on Monday, October 20th, from 6:30-8:00pm in Schulte Auditorium at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, LA!

SL9 Artist Grace Fitzpatrick of Grace Fitzpatrick Art will be offering a lecture entitled “Windows to Heaven: A Beginner’s Guide to Understanding Traditional Iconography."

Grace will be speak about iconography as a form of sacred art, how to better understand and appreciate iconography, explain signifiant iconographic elements and their symbolism, & help all in attendance apply this new-found understanding to how to pray with icons.
