An Evening With Benmont Tench

Benmont Tench is a true rock-and-roll titan — the founding keyboardist of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Known for his rich, melodic piano and Hammond organ lines, he helped define the sound of one of rock’s most beloved bands. Beyond the Heartbreakers, Tench has lent his talent to hundreds of recordings, collaborating with legends like Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Cash, and the Rolling Stones. In 2025, he released his second solo album, The Melancholy Season, a deeply reflective work shaped by loss, reinvention, and his lifelong passion for literature and art.
