About the event

Legends & Lore Marker Dedication

Join us on International Talk Like a Pirate Day as we dedicate our new marker from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation and the Center for Louisiana Studies. The marker is located at the site of the legendary "Teche Tunnel" at Place Eugenie (old Mount Carmel Academy) on Bayou Teche in New Iberia.
