The Painted Word –Images of the Life of Jesus Christ

Thursdays & Fridays 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
at the New Haven Methodist Church or by appointment
This group exhibit seeks to communicate a transformational message through visual expression. The exhibit invites the viewer to examine the life of Jesus and to discover a deeper meaning of the life of Jesus as eight area artists did through their painted expressions.
Artists participating in this group exhibition are:
Prescott Lillo-Willard, OH; Alec Casto -Willard, OH; James Easter-Toledo, OH; David Wolff-Collins, OH; Heidi Helgeson Hovestaedt, Norwalk, OH; Cynde Spyker-Attica, OH; and Kevin Casto-Willard, OH.
Vincent van Gogh professed, “Paintings have a life of their own that derives from the painter’s soul.” We hope that you can view this exhibit to see the life poured into these paintings on display in New Haven.
