General Information
Join us for our 4th annual Sage Mountain Campout. Sage is one of the few sandstone featured climbing areas in East Missouri with 40 routes and more than 70 boulder problems. There are both sport routes and easy to set up top ropes for those that do not lead climb. More information can be found on Mountain Project.
There will be additional activities as well such as our epic Climber Celebration Saturday night with several activities. As well as outdoor clinics, Sunday Morning Yoga, a slackline to practice on, and Tie Dye shirts

Climbing Competition
Climb the most routes/problems and rack up your score. Difficulty doesn't matter so anyone could win. Pro tip: no one, has come close to climbing half of Sage yet so make sure to turn in those score cards.
.5 Point for finishing a route with a fall
1 point for a completed route /problem without falling.
2 points if you lead a route without falling.

Other Activities
Top Rope Season
Join EMCA leaders as they'll set up top ropes on The Three Knights. it's always a great opportunity for new climbers or just those that don't have the strength to lead another route. all ascents will count towards your competition score.
Knots Clinic
Want to learn more than just the basic knots? Join Zubin our Certified Single Pitch Instructor as he goes through various knots such as the water knot, clover hitch, and friction hitch. Everyone will have an opportunity to practice and receive feedback. Prerequisites: Minimal indoor experience, bring harness, and optional carabiner
Crashpad Discus w/ Upper Limits
Tired of carrying your crashpad everywhere you go? Join St Louis' local gym Upper Limits to learn the way of the crashpad toss. Whoever throws it the furthest will win a prize!!! Try your shot near the cave.
Tie Dye Tshirts
Who can beat a $5 tshirt? join us before the party starts and make your Tie Dye Tshirt. It's a wonderful keepsake from the event or a way to represent EMCA while you are on your next adventure.
Saturday Night Climber Celebration!!
It's time to celebrate Missouri Climbing and to announce this year's Sandstone Champion! BYOB, Brokneck will be playing live and will be setting the vibe for the night , Test your strength with Upper Limits' Crashpad Discus, shapen your skills during Swords & Shields you can test your LARP skills against your friends, slackline, new Woodie Challenge, Mario Kart on the projector screen, and we'll announce raffle winners!!

Camp where ever you please! if you wish to car camp in the parking lot, find a secluded place in the woods, or join us up at the cave.
IF you have 4 wheel drive (we will need proof!), we're allowing car camping peak access!!**space is limited and at first serve basis ***no through traffic after 3pm Saturday - noon Sunday due to one-laned road***
Star Gazing
Join Nick on top of the mountain to look at our night sky through both our own eyes and telescope. He'll point out constellations, point out the north star, and planets.
Sunday Morning Yoga
Start off your morning with Sunday yoga led by Ashley Simonis. This all-levels session will help you stretch, restore, and energize your body after a weekend of climbing. Bring your mat, breathe deep, and set a positive tone for the day ahead. **Please bring your own matt
Plant Identification Clinic
Have you ever walked around sage and noticed all the different varieties of plants? Join Celeste and learn how to identify plants by their bark, leaves, size, and shape in a short presentation. Afterward, she plans to take a short walk and help people practice.
Bouldering Clinic
Join Nick Richards over by the Rune boulder with boulder problems V0-V5. We'll go over what to bring when you go outdoor bouldering, how to spot, how to top out, a short demo on bouldering at Sage, and we’ll have plenty of time to show beta and climb together.
