Join us for Pretty Paperless: An AKA Shredding Affair - a FREE community event dedicated to protecting your identity while promoting environmental responsibility!

📍 LOCATION: The Dixwell Community Q House, 197 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT
Hosted by the Theta Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, this event offers our community a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive documents while supporting sustainable practices.
WHAT TO BRING:
• Sensitive documents for shredding (limit: 3 boxes/bags per person)
• Electronics for recycling
• Cans and bottles for recycling
• Friends and family - all ages welcome!
SERVICES PROVIDED:
• On-site secure document shredding by The Shredding Source
• FREE blood pressure screenings by Yale Pressure Check
• Voter registration assistance from our Advocate for Social Justice Committee
• Electronics and bottle/can recycling stations
• Community resource information
This is a completely FREE service for our community! Our shredding capacity is 10,000 pounds total, so we're limiting each guest to 3 boxes/bags to ensure everyone can participate.
