JME Strchild, stage name for musician and performer Jaeme Brennan McDonald, is a widely acclaimed and seasoned multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, mix engineer, and audio producer. With over three decades of experience in the industry, JME has refined his craft in the studio and on stage, as well as behind the scenes, through roles that have spanned both on-stage and behind-the-scenes performances.
From writing and recording with music legends such as Living Colour, to working backstage with Janelle Monáe, B.B. King, Peter Wolf, and countless others, JME’s creativity and devotion to his craft have earned him the respect and admiration of his musical peers and fans alike.
JME has self-produced five albums throughout his career, showcasing his songwriting talents via an eclectic blend of hard funk, rock, and R&B that he has dubbed “proto-retro rock and soul”, a blend of modern technology with classic sounds. The addition of vocals by Rachel Tonucci and drums by Mark Manczuk result in Dream Factory, a carefully crafted blend of studio wizardry and dynamic live performance. The group will perform songs from JME's earnest beginnings in 2004 to his most current material from 2023's Lessons From the Prophet and 2025’s EP ReDux Ex Machina.
Opening the show will be Bridgeport, CT-born trap-soul artist Kayshawn, and Bronx, NY poet and author E. Bassey.
