Join us for an afternoon of crafts, games, and community with trans and gender diverse people and our loving allies 🏳️⚧️
You can bring a craft to work on, or bring your favourite board game to share with the group. Or you can just come as you are - we’ll have some simple art supplies you can use, plenty of games to play, or you can just relax and enjoy the company!
Hot drinks, baked goods, and snacks will be supplied, but any contributions would be greatly appreciated!
📌Place: New Farm Library Meeting Room - 135 Sydney St, New Farm QLD
📅Date: Sunday, 27 July
🕜Time: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
The New Farm Library Meeting Room is a detached hall entirely for our own use, which is wheelchair accessible with its own fully accessible bathroom. ♿️
If you’re driving, there’s a small car park attached to the library and some surrounding street parking available.
If you’re catching public transport, the closest option is Brunswick St at Sydney Street, Stop 15, which is a 3 minute walk from the library. You can get there on the 195 or 196 bus routes.
If you have recently been ill or exposed to someone who is ill, we kindly ask that you wear a mask. If you are currently ill, although we will miss you, please stay home this time to protect the vulnerable members of our community.
We have also booked this library room for the rest of the year! So look out for our events on the fourth Sunday of each month 🙂
Our meeting takes place on the lands of the Turrbul and Jagera people. We are grateful for their generations of care, and always remember that this has been a place of community and joy for thousands of years. No treaty has been signed, and sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
