DEFENSIVE PISTOL

This is NRA's Defensive Pistol course. This class is for those who already possess their CPL and wish to become more confident with their defensive shooting abilities. This will be a progressive class where you begin with the mechanics of your defensive stance and presenting your pistol from a holster, engaging a threat(target). Based on your comfort level, you will progress to more advanced course of fire which includes multiple targets, moving and shooting, clearing pistol malfunctions, speed reloading, and shooting behind barriers. Entire class will be on the firing range and last 4-5 hrs.

You will be required to provide your own pistol, 150 rds. factory ammunition, 2 magazines/2 speed loaders, holster that stays open when empty (kydex or leather). This holster should be either strong side OWB/IWB holster, or appendix carry. Eye and ear protection will be provided if you do not have them. Comfortable clothing and cover garment will also be needed.
