Rang-e-Khusrau

An ode to Amir Khusrau, a lyrical homage to Amir Khusro — poet, sufi and bon vivant. It is a celebration of love in its many shades, and of the poet who gave it voice with wit, devotion and dazzling invention.

Presented by Vidya Shah and Chandrasekhar, the performance journeys through Khusro’s life and verse.

At its heart lies prem — love as longing, surrender, wit, and transcendence. In Khusro’s verses, language becomes a meeting ground, dissolving boundaries of faith and form, shaping a shared aesthetic that continues to resonate today.
