Learn Kolam Art: Traditional South Indian Art

Step into the world of heritage and creativity! In this special workshop, children will discover the beauty of Kolam art—the traditional South Indian floor drawing made with lines, curves, and dots that symbolize positivity, prosperity, and mindfulness.

Through stories, visuals, and hands-on practice, kids will learn how this ancient art form connects with daily life, festivals, and culture. Guided by expert artists, they’ll explore basic techniques, traditional motifs, styles of drawing and then create their own colourful Kolam-inspired artworks using colours, paper & canvas.

By the end of the session, every child will take home a vibrant artwork that reflects both tradition and their personal creativity.
