Wayne Brewer, a sixth-generation musician well-known for his work with Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers, and his talented wife Alyssa have teamed up to salute Country Legends George Jones and Tammy Wynette. The Brewer’s tribute to George and Tammy both on stage and on their first album has received international acclaim with it even being featured in People Magazine. Their latest release, “Lonesome and Blue,” is currently in heavy rotation on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country (Channel 62) and is also featured in both “Holler Country’s Best New Country Songs” and on the cover of Cowgirl Magazine.
Opening the show will be West Shore Theatre favorite and The Uptown Band’s leader Erich Cawalla. Erich Cawalla is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, recording artist, and booking agent. In fact, as owner of Anjoli Productions, he is the booking manager for Alyssa and Wayne Brewer whom, he looks forward to opening for. Erich is a BMI-affiliated songwriter and Grammy Voting Member of the National Recording Academy. Most recently, his latest original release “DooWoppin” was featured on Cool Bobby B.’s DooWop Stop on Sirius XM Radio on 50s on 5 (Channel 72). Erich will be performing Rock/Top-40/Country hits from the 50s/60s/70s for this special show with Alyssa and Wayne.
