Learn the story of New Castle sculptor Maurine Ligon. Many people in New Castle know Maurine through her art and her sculpture studio in the Old Library. Few know that before coming to New Castle she led a fascinating life including a pioneering role in medicine and anesthesia.

Our speaker is Ty Atkins, personal researcher and biographer of Maurine Ligon.
