About the event

Creative Play: Texture Rubbings
Tour the Floating Beauty exhibit to learn about printmaking and ways to create texture. Then fill coloring pages with texture rubbings to apply the concepts. Featured storybook: Sally in the Snow by Stephen Huneck.

Creative Play is designed to provide our youngest innovators, ages 3-7, the opportunity to draw, paint, design, build, invent and engineer the world they imagine. Lessons often begin with a story and/or tour of the galleries and wrap up with a fun hands-on activity!

Youth members can participate for free. Non-Members are just $10. Parents are welcome to stay, but it is not required. Classes take place on Thursdays from 10-11:30 am. Not a member? Join Now! All materials provided.
