"Silent No More" Candlelight Vigil

Prudence Crandall Center's annual "Silent No More" Candlelight Vigil is a community gathering to raise awareness & honor those who have lost their lives in the past year to domestic violence.

This event is open to the public, and takes place at our Rose Hill campus at 594 Burritt Street, New Britain, where our grounds will be decorated with purple ribbons and luminaries. The event is held outdoors - weather permitting. Please check Facebook event and our website for weather updates.

The vigil commemorates lives lost while renewing our determination as a community to end the senseless tragedy of domestic violence. Join us in remembrance and be inspired by stories of survival and the strength of our community.

Music will be provided by an artist from the New Britain Symphony. There will be an open mic portion of the program for members of the community to share their reflections if they wish.
