NHS-Gallery 66 Announces Call to Artists for “JUST ART Exhibition”

New Britain, CT – NHS–Gallery 66 is pleased to announce a call for submissions to its upcoming exhibition, JUST ART, running from September 15 through November 8, 2025, with an opening reception on Saturday, October 11, from 4:00–6:00 PM.
The JUST ART Exhibition celebrates the spirit of pure creativity, art for art’s sake. Free from themes, restrictions or boundaries this exhibition provides artists the opportunity to showcase the work that inspires them most. Visitors can expect an eclectic mix of mediums, styles and perspectives, from bold abstracts to innovative digital explorations.
Who Can Apply
NHS-Gallery 66 invites submissions from both emerging and established artists working in all mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media and digital art.
Submission Guidelines
Deadline: Sunday, September 8, 2025, by 6:00 PM

Artists may submit up to 3 works for consideration
Size Limits: Wall-hung work (max 30" W x 30" H); Sculpture (max 18" H)
Required Materials:
High-resolution JPEG/PNG images (300 dpi
Title, dimensions, medium, price, and installation instructions
Artist Statement (200 words)
Short Bio (150 words) and contact information
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: September 8, 2025, by 6:00 PM
Notification of Acceptance: on or before September 10, 2025
Artwork Drop-Off: Friday, September 12 (4:00–6:00 PM) and Saturday, September 13 (11:00 AM–1:00 PM)
Exhibition Dates: September 15 – November 8, 2025
Opening Reception: Saturday, October 11, 4:00–6:00 PM
Additional Information
Entry Fee: $25 (payable at drop-off; $5 per additional accepted work)
Sales: 20% commission retained by Gallery 66
All artwork must be presentation-ready (wired or otherwise prepared for secure display)
Delivery/Pickup: Artists are responsible for transport to/from Gallery 66, 66 W Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051
