United Way of Comal County is proud to announce the 2025 Speaker Series, featuring a rare and engaging panel discussion with Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters. This one-of-a-kind event will be held at the historic Gruene Hall and will be moderated by Mattson Rainer, General Manager of KGNB/KNBT Radio New Braunfels. It’s a morning designed to inspire, entertain, and unite our community—while raising funds for programs that make a difference right here in Comal County.

Guests will enjoy more than just a great conversation. The event begins with doors opening at 9:00 a.m. for a delicious buffet breakfast, giving attendees time to mingle, connect, and share in the spirit of community. At 10:00 a.m., the program kicks off as Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters take the stage for a live discussion moderated by Mattson Rainer.
This isn’t a concert—it’s a unique opportunity to hear personal stories, creative insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from one of Hollywood’s most versatile talents and his band, all in the intimate, historic setting of Gruene Hall.
