Following Jesus has never been about simply attending church or believing the right things. From the very beginning, it has been about practicing a way of life—the way of apprenticeship to Jesus. This practice of engaging Scripture is rooted in the same rhythms that shaped the lives of first-century disciples and still shapes ours today.
