Balance and Swing Contradance

Join us for this months Feature Event in an ongoing series at out gracious host The First United Unitarian Church of New Bedford
TryWorks Hall with caller Paul Wilde. Doors @ 6:30 PM

Are you new to contra dancing? You can do it! Every dance is taught. No experience is necessary and it isn't necessary to bring a partner with you either. It’s a joyful experience!

This is a great place to begin your dancing experience. The Old Time Fiddle Session community is committed above all other things to creating participatory traditional music environments where all levels of participation are celebrated and comfortable. Bring water, dress comfortably, and come be a part of something fun. Participants are welcome to join in the community band or the dancing!

This event is supported in part by the New Bedford Local Cultural Council a subsidiary of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and it involves a generous donation of a very beautiful space from the First Unitarian Church of New Bedford
