From Patricia & Jahbi:
Greetings, family and friends.
We are reaching out with full hearts during a very difficult time for our home village of Haddo, here in Westmoreland, Jamaica.
When Hurricane Melissa passed over the island, the eye of the storm went directly through our community. Many homes were damaged, roads collapsed, gardens were destroyed, and access to food, fuel, power, and clean water remains limited.
The Crown, our life’s work and the heart of our community, suffered significant damage as well. But by the blessings of the Most High, Jahbi survived unharmed and he has begun the slow process of rebuilding.
We can’t do it alone - and our community truly needs your help.
To support Haddo and the surrounding villages, we are hosting a fundraising night of reggae music, drumming, dancing, and an art auction:
📅 Saturday, November 29, 2025
🕔 5 PM – 9 PM
📍 Miners Foundry, Nevada City, CA
🎟️ Suggested donation: $20 at the door
All proceeds will go directly toward:
– Food and clean water for Haddo families
– Fuel for generators and transportation
– Rebuilding damaged homes
– Supporting local farmers and small businesses
– Repairing structural damage to The Crown
– Restoring access roads and essential resources
For those unable to attend, we humbly ask that you share or support our GoFundMe:

Every dollar counts. Every share helps. Every prayer lifts us up.
From the bottom of our hearts - thank you for standing with Haddo and helping our communities rise again.
With gratitude and love,
Patricia & Jahbi
