Champion Mine Trail Race

The Sierra Trailblazers Running Club & Bear Yuba Land Trust bring you Nevada City's own Champion Mine Trail Race!

WHEN: Sunday, October 12, 2025, 7:30am start time

WHERE: The start and finish line are at the Miners Foundry, Nevada City

The Champion Mine Trail Race offers a dynamic mix of pavement, gravel, and single track trails, making it a must-do event for any trail enthusiast. Starting and ending at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City, the Champion Mine Trail Race takes runners up historic Broad Street before heading out to Champion Mine Road and the Deer Creek Tribute Trail System.

The Race includes two offerings and is open to people of all abilities:

- Half Marathon (13.1 miles), or
- 5k Run/Walk (3.1 miles)

Registration includes:

- Custom race t-shirt
- Locally made finishers medal
- A pancake breakfast by the Nevada City Police Department
