Starting March 1, new federal reporting requirements will impact many non-traditional residential transfers. Closing offices face increased workloads, higher liability exposure, and potential additional fees.
In this essential session, you will:
• Identify which transactions trigger FinCEN reporting
• Understand how these rules impact real estate transactions
• Learn how to advise clients and protect deals from delays, fines, and extra costs
• Prepare to guide clients through providing detailed personal and financial information, including possible full bank account disclosure
Be the trusted advisor your clients need by understanding who is responsible, what information is required, and how to manage expectations under the new Anti-Money Laundering rule for all-cash buyers.
