Join Us for BC Rivers Day: Cottonwood Creek Cleanup!
For the second year in a row we, in partnership with Living Lakes Canada (LLC), are excited to host a community stream cleanup along Cottonwood Creek as part of this years BC Rivers Day celebrations! Thank you to Outdoor Recreation Council of BC for your 45 years of advocacy, and for bringing us together to appreciate our streams and rivers!

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
Meeting Point: Cottonwood Falls Park parking lot
In support of LLC’s Cottonwood Creek Revival Project, this event brings the community together to care for one of Nelson’s most iconic creeks. We’ll provide some supplies (including buckets, trash pickers, gloves, and bags) but quantities are limited, so please bring your own if you can! Light snacks and refreshments will be available, and FoKLSS swag will be on hand for purchase by donation.
Families and kids are welcome! Please respond to our Facebook event to let us know you’re coming- drop-ins are also encouraged. To save time on the day, we recommend signing our online waiver beforehand:
