About the event

African dance workshop with live drumming!
Join Tamara in this one-off dance workshop accompanied by live drums as she travels through on tour!

Tamara has been teaching for ten years in Ōtautahi/Christchurch and has performed and given workshops at numerous festivals, such as The Little River Drum and dance festival, Festa, Christchurch Arts Festival, Dance Aotearoa and Relish Festival.

"African Dance is fun, powerful, liberating, uplifting, transformative. I am passionate about creating a friendly environment open to everyone, where people can feel free to express themselves through music and dance."

Please note a minimum of 10 people will be required for this workshop so please book in early to make it go ahead! Thank you!
