The morning after Halloween… The candy’s been picked clean for Reese’s and KitKats, the kids are riding the sugar high, and the pumpkins on your porch are starting to sag.
We’ve got the cure. Bring the family and let them be cops and firefighters for the day!
Join Needham Fire and Needham Police Department for our Open House!
📍 Station 1 – 88 Chestnut St
🕙 Saturday, November 1 | 10 AM–2 PM
Burn off that post-Halloween energy while you check out:
🚒 Touch-a-Truck: Fire engines, police cruisers, DPW excavators, Boston MedFlight ambulance, drone presentation and more
🌭Free hotdogs and cookies courtesy of Needham Fire Local 1706 served up by the Boston Sparks Rehab Unit, which supports firefighters on scene during major incidents.
🎃Pumpkin Smash: Bring your own pumpkin for $5 or grab a leftover donated one for $10 (thanks to Volante Farms and Carters!). Smash it firefighter-style and take out that leftover Halloween energy! All scraps will be composted locally. Every dollar raised supports our Shop with a First Responder program, helping local families this holiday season in partnership with the Needham Community Council.
🎁Toys for Tots Kickoff: Bring a toy or make a donation in person, get a photo with Santa, and help us kick off the season of giving!
🐶 And of course, visits from our towns favorite furry friends Needham Police Working Dogs Foundation
The event is free, open to all, and a great way to meet your local first responders.
Come on down, see the trucks, meet the crews, and send those pumpkins out in style!
