Montessori Monday – Maple Tree Tapping Slime Class 🍁
Join us this week for a sensory experience that is sure to be sweet, squishy, and full of fun!
Our upcoming Montessori Monday: Maple Tree Tapping Slime Class invites children to explore one of nature’s most fascinating seasonal processes through hands-on learning and sensory play.
During class, children will learn about the maple tree tapping process—how sap is collected and transformed into maple syrup. January through March is prime maple tree tapping season, making this the perfect time to introduce this beautiful real-world learning experience.
Each child will enjoy:
🍁 Playing with their very own maple tree–themed slime
🍁 A personal slime station for independent exploration
🍁 Sampling real maple syrup, along with a special treat for dipping
🍁 Taking home their custom slime to continue the learning through play
This week’s sensory focus will be slime exploration, encouraging fine motor development, tactile discovery, curiosity, and imaginative play—all while connecting learning to nature and seasonal changes.
✨ Monthly Members:
This class will include a small additional $5 fee to help cover the cost of our custom slimes, maple syrup tasting, and special treat.
