Where would we be without our Friends? Our 501c3 partner The Friends of Necedah National Wildlife Refuge invite all Friends members to join us at the annual Friends meeting and Friends Fall Get Together! The board meeting is welcome to anyone at 4:00 PM, but we hope current and new members will join us for a pulled pork potluck and sunset activities at the visitor center starting at 5:00 pm. Reservations required - Please RSVP for the board to bring enough food and sign up for the bus tour, hike, or patio sunset viewing to reserve your spot! Call: 608-565-2551. Members can have dinner on us and pick an activity for free, we encourage others to donate or join the Friends and attend the night with us!
The Friends also encourage those of you who love the refuge to consider becoming a volunteer or board member. We have volunteer openings at the nature store, visitor center, education team, turtle team, and one time fall crane count. We are also looking for new general voting board members, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you have skills and interests that you think could help us we would love to have you!

Friends Fall Get Together
Visitor Center Open 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Friends members are welcome to visit during extended hours or sit in on any portion of the Friends Annual Meeting.
Dinner is Served at 5:15 PM: Annual meeting reports available, adjournment and welcome. Menu: pulled pork potluck provided by the Friends Board
*Sunset Options 6:30 – 8:45 pm: Friends Members can reserve and after-dinner activity of a bus tour, hike, or enjoy the sunset from the patio.
