NC Bronco Club @ Linville Adventure Pasture

We have reserved Linville Adventure Pasture for camping and as a ‘Base Camp’ however you don’t have to camp you can just come along for the day, Saturday and depart.
Friday Sept 26:
Arrive no earlier than 3pm at Linville Adventure Pasture.
4pm- 6pm Register/Sign up for Camping and Rides
6pm Meet and Greet around a bonfire-Have fun.
Saturday Sept 27:
0730-0900 Register/Sign up for Rides/Camping
0730-0900 Pancake Breakfast
0900-1000 Drivers Meeting/ Recovery Demonstration
Brown Mountain Bound Broncos:
10:00-10:20 am: Stage Group 1 for Brown Mountain
10:30-10:50 am: Stage Group 2 for Brown Mountain
11:00-1120 am: Stage Group 3 for Brown Mountain
11:30-11:50 Stage Group 4 for Brown Mountain (if a 4th group is needed)
Highway 105 Bound Broncos:
10:00-10:30am Stage for Highway 105.
12pm Plan to stop for a Picnic Lunch along the way.
Everyone:
NLT 4pm Return to ‘Base Camp’
4pm-7pm Food Trucks
4:30pm Awards, Raffle, and Thank You’s.
6pm Meet and Greet around a bonfire-Have fun.
Sunday Sept 28:
Pack out no later than 11:00am.

Cost to camp is $25 per night, per vehicle (paid upon arrival)
Tents, Overland trailers, Campers (preferably under 20’) are more than welcome. There are no hookups available. Please no Class A Motorhomes.
Fires in designated area only. This includes fire cans. The designated place is where we will be having the bonfire.
This area is considered primitive camping, however there will be portable toilets, sinks, and water available.

There are 2 cabins available- there is a 2 night minimum. If you would like to reserve a cabin or have questions regarding the camping area, please call/ text Christian at 828-604-0050.

Brown Mountain is not for every Bronco. Please do your own research to know if Brown Mountain is right for you and your Bronco’s capability.
Brown Mountain requires a pass; they are $5 per day or $30 annual pass, must be purchased prior to the ride. See below location to purchase:
Colletsville General Store:

We will have 3 (possibly 4) groups, each group will be 8-10 Broncos, they will convoy to Brown Mountain, at the base of the trail is a parking area to air up/down. The trail is one way in, one way out. We will be driving Trail 1.
Highway 105 Information:
This ride is a scenic one and should be pretty with the leaves starting to change. All Broncos can do this ride, it will be on paved/maintained gravel roads. We will stop along the way for lunch and scenic views. Route will be posted as we get closer to the event.
What to Bring:
Whatever you need to camp, food, and drinks.
Lunch for Saturday.
Radios if you have them. (GRMS)
Make sure you have a full tank of gas upon arrival.
We are asking for a $10 Donation, this donation will help cover cost of firewood, breakfast and other costs associated to making this event memorable.
