Beginning Beehives

Martha’s Bloomers invites you to meet Doug Rogers of 3S2B Honey Bee Farm, who specializes in bees, bee hives, and honey.

Doug will walk us through the essential equipment and supplies needed, step-by-step guidance to getting the hive started, and how to keep the colony healthy and thriving.

This presentation is a beginner's guide to beekeeping, from a single hive to pollinate your flower bed or garden, to several hives for a rewarding hobby.
