Overwintering Milkweed Seed

Got Milkweed? Now is a great time to collect the seed pods, they should be dry and slightly open, place in a paper bag.
TERRA DEPOT will have a workshop Saturday afternoon, October 25 2-4pm to talk about native milkweed (and butterfly W**d) seed stratification and show you how to overwinter the seed so you can grow your own milkweed plants for next season! Bring your seeds (if you have them) and I will have everything else needed! There is even a very easy trick to cleaning the seed that we will demonstrate!
