This weekend will be the perfect reset from a busy summer! A time to literally slow down and soak in the goodness of the alps and learning a medium that goes hand in hand- abstract!
With literally no rules or expectations, learning the art of abstract allows you to fully immerse yourself in the process and let go of any expectations you would have for a final piece.
All creative levels are welcome for this retreat, but please understand that we will be working on our piece and the process for the entire day on Saturday in the mountain car free village of Gimmelwald ! ( 10am-6pm)
On Friday we will have a welcome project that will help us all become familiar with the group in an interactive welcome to abstract class!
On Sunday morning we will take a long hike with stops along the way to dive into some personal areas of growth with watercolor that we can work on for the time after the retreat!
Cost: $350 per participant includes:
- a creative goodie bag with products I have created with my illustrations
- 14x18 gallery wrapped canvas
- instruction
- all mediums needed for abstract techniques
-lunch/ snacks/ drinks on Saturday
- trail snacks/ watercolor on Sunday
Not included:
-Lodging and transportation ( I can coordinate car pools with other participants - just let me know!)
- Berg bahn from Lauterbrunnen to Gimmelwald (about 40 franc)
- overnight parking in Lauterbrunnen
- meals ( except Saturday lunch)
Info for lodging:
The idea is to stay in the mountains for both nights. I am leaving lodging to your discretion so you can choose your comfort on price and location!
Let me know if you would like to share a room or airbnb house with another participant and I can put you in contact with another!
I would suggest looking to stay in Murren or Gimmelwald to take the cable car up one time and not having to go back into the valley each night ( not impossible but will add to the cost)
