World Dance Party

Join us for one of our signature World Dance Parties, the closing event celebrating our year-end giving campaign and launching Global Education Center into its 30th year of bringing the arts of the world to our schools and communities. This event is donation-based (any amount is truly appreciated) and is a series of mini classes in different world dance styles. This time we open with SharQui Belly Dance Workout to get you warmed up, then move to the fun art of Bollywood, glide into the smooth rhythms of Latin dance, closing with some high energy Afro dance with drum accompaniment. Come try dance styles that may be foreign to you or that you have always wanted to try. No judgement. No hierarchy. No showboating. Just fun, fellowship, and joy for all.
