Tango Technique 7 pm, Performance tango 8 pm

VTC’s classes on Mondays at 7 pm tango technique & performance tango 8 pm - $10 each. Students free. Open to the public!

No partner or experience necessary.

The 8 pm Performance Tango will focus on show tango moves in preparation for a performance of at least one dance for Café con leche at Vanderbilt Langford auditorium on Saturday, November 1. If you want to perform, you will need to be available the Friday before for a dress rehearsal around 5 PM. There is also a Tech rehearsal the Friday before that the dress rehearsal is mandatory the tech rehearsal is good to attend because it gives you experience but if you have a conflict it is okay.

If you have never studied Tango before, and you want to perform, you will be required to take the Tango technique class so that you know some tango basics.

Parking: free parking is available at the West End United Methodist Church parking lot. From there you walk up 23rd toward campus to the circle, and then keep walking straight on the sidewalk until you see Rand Hall. Take the last door on the right to find the dance floor in the Rand dining center.
