Rollerskate Ramps: Progressive Ramps 3 WEEK WORKSHOP

Wednesdays 1/6, 1/13 & 1/20 7:30pm

This is a 3 week course on ramp skating basics. This will get you from never having ramp skated before to doing fun tricks under the coping that make you feel good. Each of 3 classes is a 1 hour beginner small group workshop in the basics of ramp skating.

Once you sign up for the first date you will automatically be signed up for the next 2 dates and will get a confirmation sent to your email for all the dates.



In this lesson we will learn the basics of ramp skating. Learn how to use the ramp to gain momentum and even progress to really cool tricks. Every week will start with the basics of pumping and gaining momentum on the ramp and then progress to a number of fun beginner tricks and skills. At the end of class we will take turns taking "runs" and practicing the skills we've learned. This will be a great time to also take some videos of your new skills.



SKILL PRE-REQUISITES:

You must be able to skate forwards and backwards on your skates.



Once you have taken this class you can advance to any beginner ramps lessons.



Gear:

Knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads VERY strongly suggested.

Helmets required.
