This experiential workshop will get your hands (and nose!) into soil and compost as you explore the complex world of soil microorganisms through the lens of the microscope.

The workshop involves time both in the classroom and outdoors on the beautiful grounds of the City Farm.

You will learn:

- who are the characters of the soil food web and the key roles that each of them play
- some of the tell-tale signs of the different kinds of biology in your soil you can access courtesy of your own senses
- what organic and regenerative practices help to support (or harm!) the kinds of microbiology we are looking to attract
