🎃 We Absolutely Cannot Wait Until the 25th! 🎃
This will be our 3rd year hosting the Halloween Bash, but the tradition goes back MANY, many years! This incredible party was originally created by our Grandmother Maxine Branson, and lovingly carried on through the years by our Mother Susie and our Aunt Mary.
💜 This party is, first and foremost, held in remembrance of Maxine Branson, and also to celebrate the birthdays of Mary and Sandy. Our beautiful mom, Susie, passed away six years ago — and Luke and I decided to keep this tradition going in her honor.
This is a Free Will Donation Event, and all proceeds go to the Susie Kearn Memorial Fund, which has a number of meaningful projects in the works.
Thanks to your generosity, over the past couple of years we've raised just over $200, which was used to purchase a rocking chair with a memorial plaque for Susie Kearn. That chair will be gifted to the Narka Presbyterian Church this October — a place Susie loved dearly, especially listening to Pastor Phil Goombi.
We are still finalizing plans for this year’s donations. There are a few wonderful causes we’re considering. I’ve recently learned of someone in Kansas who is in need of a kidney transplant. We’re working to gather more details, and if it’s a fit, we hope to contribute to their family to help relieve some of the financial burden. I’ll be sure to update you all as we learn more.
