Meet your group at the designated pickup point in Pompeii, where your driver will greet you. After a short transfer, your tickets are validated at the park entrance, and you’ll be introduced to your English-speaking volcanological guide before beginning the ascent.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.
Due to the steep gradient and the characteristics of the trail, climbing to the crater is not recommended for individuals with complex health conditions, including respiratory or cardiovascular issues.
The hike is suitable for everyone (hiking difficulty: E or easy) and requires no special trekking preparation.
Children are allowed on the hike with adult supervision.
The digital guidebook is available in English only.
All Mount Vesuvius tickets include a volcanological guide to the crater.
In case of bad weather or force majeure, the climb may be suspended by the volcanological guides.
