Discover the power of Somatic Yoga a gentle yet profound practice that invites you to move with awareness, release tension, and support your body’s natural ability to return to balance. These monthly two-hour immersions are open to everyone and are designed to help you feel more at ease, connected, and empowered in your own skin.
This practice isn’t about “doing it right” or perfecting a pose. Instead, it’s about slowing down, tuning inward, and allowing your nervous system to learn new, pain-free patterns of movement. You’ll experience how mindful, intentional motion can soothe your body, calm your mind, and restore your vitality.
What is Somatic Yoga?
“Soma” translates to “the body as perceived from within.” In Somatic Yoga, we use slow, conscious movement and breath to connect deeply with the “felt sense” of our body. With eyes closed, we shift our focus away from how a pose looks and toward how it feels a big and liberating shift for most of us! This mindful approach retrains the brain and body, helping release chronic tension, improve mobility, and even recover from musculoskeletal conditions.
Each month we will dive deeper into Somatic Movement through understanding:
Pandiculation – gently re-educating your muscles to relax
Vagus nerve stimulation – calming your nervous system
Breathwork – increasing nitric oxide and oxygenation
Somatic principles – restoring habitual movement patterns
And more ways to enhance immunity, release sensory amnesia, and ease pain
These workshops are designed to give you tools you can practice at home nourishing your body, calming your mind, and deepening your sense of well-being.
