Story and Taonga Pūoro with Elizabeth Gray at Wardini NAPIER

Join us for a special celebration of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori with Elizabeth Gray, award winning author of Hineraukatauri me Te Ara Pūoro – a double winner at the 2025 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults.

Elizabeth will read from her book, Hineraukatauri me Te Ara Pūoro, then take us through the kaupapa of The Haumanu Collective, a group dedicated to the revival, teaching, and sharing of Taonga Pūoro.
