Ocean's Day

Wednesday, September 24th is Oceans Day! On Oceans day we will start with a fun Under the Sea Silhouette art project! Then we will discuss the various ocean zones and make our very own gulper eel sock puppet. After morning tea we will talk about the anatomy of fish and create a fish model showing how fish breathe. Another break for some playground time and then we come back for a lesson on sand and we will make sand oobleck, sure to be messy and fun! After some lunch we will have a nature play if weather permits. Throughout the day there will be a science library, art table, boardgames, jigsaw puzzles, playground, and other games!
