Fables - Hawke's Bay Arts Festival

A familiar name in Aotearoa’s indie-folk scene, Jessica Bailey’s Fables brings poetic songwriting, lush instrumentation and raw emotion to the stage in a special pre-release performance that blends story-telling with song.

Alongside favourites from Portraits, audiences will be the first to hear Fables’ upcoming debut album Change is a Slow-Moving Beast - a richly textured, collaborative work co-produced with Reb Fountain and Dave Khan, exploring transformation, longing and grief.
