The Untold Story an Artist’s Spiritual Awakening during the Italian Reformation.
On the outside, Michelangelo—the acclaimed painter of the Sistine Chapel and master sculptor of the Pietà and the David—was a world-renowned artist, perhaps the greatest of all time. On the inside, however, he was a lonely man wrestling with what he believed, along with a growing sense of shame.
“Michelangelo: Chiseled by Grace” reveals the dramatic, untold story of one haunted man’s journey into spiritual freedom. Rooted in the titanic events and characters of the Italian Reformation, this dramatic monologue will help you discover Michelangelo anew—maybe for the first time.
Chris Castaldo, PhD, brings to the role a lifetime of study of the Italian Reformation, first-hand visits to the cities where Michelangelo lived and worked, and a discerning, compassionate heart for all who struggle with questions of religious identity.
