About the event

Astronomy Fundamentals : The Interstellar Medium and Star Formation

Jim Hopkins will discuss the interplanetary, interstellar, and intergalactic mediums and how they affect all wavelengths of the light astronomers study. Rare pictures will illustrate the known problems as well as those that are unknown and unsolved.

This program is open to the public—everyone is welcome to attend!
