Astronomy Fundamentals : A Few Tips for Preparing for an Observing Session

Do you ever find yourself at a dark sky site, only to notice you’re observing the same objects you usually view from your backyard? Without a plan, observing sessions can become repetitive, making that long drive feel less worthwhile.

The solution? Preparing an observing list before you head out.
